New Norway church

  Highland Park Church & Cemetary is located just South & West of New Norway Alberta Canada. In 1898 Pioneers in this area built A Store, Post Office, Creamery &  Boarding House all of which operated from 1900 to 1910. A School was also built and was operating from 1901 to 1949. The Church was built in 1905 and closed in 1964. It is still standing but is in a poor state of repair and has been boarded up. Olstad family disembarked in   Wetaskiwin   and made their way to the   Duhamel   settlement, which had been established for some years.
